Pump Shanti consists of a simple circuit connected to the pumpset switch which encloses a mobile phone inside. Merely by dialing this mobile number the Farmer can do all the ON/OFF actions without having to walk even a single step.
The Farmer can do the following……
- Detect whether there is grid power available at the pumpsite
- If yes, then switch the pumpset ON
- At the end of pumping, switch the pumpset OFF
