The ACeS R190 is the world's smallest pocket size satellite phone, weighing just over 200 grams. Its dual mode function is designed specifically to support the ASIA Cellular Satellite (ACeS) service, as well as roam on GSM 900 mode networks globally.
The R190 has been developed for all users who travel, work or live in mountains, oceans, forests, rural areas, or even in cities in Asia. The phone is enabled by GMSS (Geostationary Mobile Satellite Standard), the satellite technology derived from the GSM standard. In addition, the ACeS service operates on the Garuda 1 high-frequency satellite, covering over 23 countries in Asia.
